Carrousel

By the reinterpretation of the classical chandelier theme, Carrousel condenses the concept of creating a surprising effect with a minimal effort.
Consisting of two laser cut metal rings and a series of fabric ribbons the light is brought into an interaction of reflection and diffused states.
While the radial overlapping of the ribbons create a pattern visible from underneath, the reflected light can exit on top and throws an adornment in the space above. The structure itself is the ornament.
